FAQ 1059
Can I get a deferral on my referral exam?

Yes. As with all assessments, you can apply for mitigation in the same way as long as you can provide evidence of your mitigating circumstances. If your application is successful, your deferred attempt of the referral will also be capped at the pass mark. However, please be aware that your next attempt will be in the next scheduled referred / deferred period, August of the following year. This means that you would be unable to progress onto your next year of study until this exam has been passed, that is you would need to wait one year before progressing.
