FAQ 1103
Do I have to take modules at my current level?

No, you are not restricted to taking modules at your level (eg 1st year modules in Year 1 or 3rd year modules in the Final Year).

However, you must ensure that you have the appropriate number of credits at each level in order to complete your degree.

So, for example, you could opt to take an introductory Business module in your second year, or an advanced language module in your first year if you already have an A-Level.

Please note however, that if you wish to take a 1st year module when you are in your final year, you must seek special approval from the Director of Education.

Please see the Levels and Awards Framework page for more information.
