FAQ 1251
I am going home/on holiday, can I sit my exams abroad?

All students are expected to return to their normal campus to sit their exam(s).

If you are unable to return to the University to take your exam(s) due to exceptional circumstances, you must seek permission to sit the exam abroad.

There is specific eligibility criteria for sitting examinations abroad including:

·         Medical reasons – if you are unable to travel for medical reasons

·         You are undertaking further academic study during the exam period and are not allowed to return to the University for these exams

·         Other exceptional personal circumstances.

Reasons that will not be considered include:

·         Financial reasons

·         Work commitments

·         Holiday

Further details about this process are released in June and can be found on the examinations website
