My card payment was declined, I have checked my bank account and I have enough money so can you explain why this has happened?

The University is not told why card payments are declined as this information is private and secure.

 

If you have a new card, you may need to register or activate it with your bank.

 

For security reasons, many banks and card companies impose a maximum transaction amount

If your payment exceeds this amount, your bank may block it to protect your card from being used fraudulently.

 

In both instances, please contact your bank or card company.
