Access to network files on laptop is slow
This is likely to be caused by having a wired, and a wireless connection. Turn your wireless off using one of the following methods:
1) Press Fn + F2 (F2 will be labelled with a radio mast or similar icon denoting wireless)
2) Find the switch on the laptop and ensure this is turned off (The orange square should not be visible)
3) Go to Start - Control Panel - Network Connections Right click on Wireless Network Connection and click Disable.
4) You will then need to restart your computer.
