If you would like to interrupt your studies, you will first need to see your tutor at your College to discuss your options. You will then either be directed to complete the form through SID Online if you are not on campus, or a College administrator can go through the form with you in person or over the phone.
Please note that if you are an International student on a TIER4 visa, an International Student Advisor needs to sign the form and discuss with you any visa implications. Please make an appointment by logging an enquiry online with the SID Desk (click 'Log Enquiry' below).
If you are in University Accommodation your interruption request will be sent to the Accommodation team so they can discuss your departure and book you out of your accommodation.
You must also return your University UniCard. Once you have done this, your Interruption form will then be processed by Student Records and the Student Loans Company (if appropriate) will be notified on your behalf.
A confirmation is sent to you for your information only.
Please be aware that there may be serious financial implications if you interrupt your studies at the University of Exeter. You can make an appointment with them on 01392 723520 or email@example.com.
