We require you to register online at the start of each academic year of your programme.
Registration dates are available on the website.
If you are a new student, please follow the instructions in your welcome email. You will need to activate your University IT account before you can register.
International students will need to complete document clearance on arrival at Exeter before being cleared to register.
Access online registration through the iExeter portal:
1. Log in to iExeter using your University user name and password.
2. Click on the Student Record System tile.
3. In the Student Record System, if you have been cleared to register you will see a red box "Welcome to online registration". Click on the "REGISTER NOW" link to enter the online registration pages
If you have not been cleared to register, or do not need to register, you should see a message telling you why you cannot or do not need to register
Please note there may be a £50 late fee charge if you do not register within the registration period and your University IT account may be suspended.
