If you are a Modern Language student, you may work abroad; If you study another discipline in the College of Humanities, it is not possible to work abroad as part of your programme.
For Modern Languages students, please consider a few things before you commit to applying for a work placement. First of all, the work option isn't the best option for everybody. Secondly, bear in mind that in almost all cases you will have to look for work placements independently and in all cases you will have to go through a normal job application process (i.e. application forms and probably telephone interviews as a minimum).
