I am not able to run a Cognos report

If using Internet Explorer as you web browser, then you need to make sure it is in compatibility mode when using Cognos. To do this:

If running a report from off campus the please ensure that you are using VPN.

You need to be set up with the correct access permissions in order to run certain Cognos reports. To request additional access then log an enquiry in SID using the Cognos Analytics (Reporting) category, choosing the User Access Request option from the dropdown.

For other issues then please log an enquiry via SID, choosing either the Cognos Analytics (Reporting) or Cognos EP (Planning) category depending on what you are having issues with.
