FAQ 2745
I have a Specific Learning Difficulty; can I have extra time in my exams?

If you have a specific learning difficulty, such as dyslexia, you will need to provide a diagnostic assessment report in order to apply for extra time or other provisions in exams.

To find our more please see the AccessAbility team's webpage or contact SID on 0300 555 0444 to book an appointment. There may be a deadline to get provisions in place before exams so you are advised to see AccessAbility well ahead of your exams. Please look out for the exam adjustment deadline notices.

Please note that once this has been put in place, you will not need to apply again each year.
