Inside the UK
If you are submitting your visa application from inside the UK, it normally takes 6-8 weeks for a decision to be made, but during busy periods it can take much longer.
Please do not book any international travel until a decision has been made as your application will be cancelled and you will not be able to re-enter the UK without your visa.
Outside the UK
If you are submitting your visa application outside the UK, it normally takes 2-4 weeks but please double check the estimated processing times in your country here.
