FAQ 736
What sorts of concerns can I discuss in talking therapies?

Talking therapies offer you a safe and confidential space to talk about anything that may be troubling you.

Common concerns for students include academic pressures, problems with concentration, depression and anxiety, family and relationship difficulties, eating disorders, issues with self-esteem , bereavement, or a chronic medical condition that may be impacting on your university experience.

Sometimes there is no specific problem but you may simply want to talk about feeling unhappy or confused.  The Wellbeing Services Team are happy to hear about anything that may be troubling you.

For more information please see the Wellbeing Services website or Log an Enquiry on-line with the Student Information Desk (via the SID tile in iExeter).
