I have a clash on my timetable, what can I do?
You will first need to see if there is an alternative session you can attend that will resolve your timetable clash. You must check the schedule of your module choice for an alternative session. You can do this here - set the Department dropdown to Business School, and either enter the module code if known in the free text box OR select the module from the dropdown list.
You must then select Terms 1+2 from the box on the right entitled Filter weeks by named period – selecting both terms ensures you capture all sessions scheduled. Locate the alternative session for the clash if available: the lecture(s) signified by L, any single tutorial (T) or seminar (S) or workshop (W). If these sessions do not clash with any of your compulsory session(s), your timetable permits you to take the module.
If the clash can’t be resolved you will need to choose an alternative module for your optional choice and follow the above process to ensure this doesn’t create a clash for your new selection.
You can find a list of all undergraduate modules offered by the Business School here and all postgraduate modules here; please ensure you select a module from the subject matter and year that apply to you, and read the full module description and your programme structure to ensure that you comply with any pre or co requisites and permitted pathways for your degree.
