How do I secure a placement / what support is there?
Whilst it is the student’s responsibility to apply for and secure a placement we do run compulsory pre-placement preparation sessions and optional sessions where company representatives come in to tell students about their placement schemes.
We also run an optional ‘mock assessment centre’ using an external assessment centre provider as well as a number of other sessions including Business Games, mock interviews, networking events and insights talks.
Although we do not offer a placement matching service our placement coordinators will be able to provide advice through the aforementioned sessions as well as in the Business School Career Zone and during 1:1 appointments.
