FAQ 1292
What is the difference between interruption and withdrawal?

Withdrawing from your course is a final decision which cannot be unmade.

We would usually recommend interrupting your studies for a year to allow you the option of returning to your studies in the future.

We should stress that interruption is usually only authorised for serious health or personal reasons.

The Student Guild Advice Unit are available to help and you are strongly advised to consult them before making a decision.
They can advise on academic and financial implications of withdrawal and interruption.
