FAQ 2176
I'd like to print in a larger format than A4, is this something I can do?

Yes. The larger Xerox devices can provide A3 print & copy. There is a notice on each Xerox device to tell you if it can print in A3. The basic rule is that the floor-standing Xerox devices can print A3, whereas the smaller devices that sit on tables can't!

To print on A3 please follow the below steps:

1. In the printer properties dialogue box select the ‘Paper/Output’ tab in ‘Printer Properties’.

2. Click on the down-arrow to right of the ‘Paper’ box.

3. Select ‘Other size’, and in the ‘Output paper size’ select ‘A3’.

4. Select ‘Automatically scale’ in ‘Scale options’ and ‘OK’.

For larger size formats, the University's Print & Copy Services are able to offer poster printing at £12 for A2, £20 for A1 and £27 for A0, and offer other substrates beside paper, such as canvas - very useful for taking a large poster for presentation to a conference for instance.
