What will happen if my mitigation is approved?
The majority of successful applications result in the deferral of the component (type of assessment).
If it is an exam, you will be entitled to an uncapped re-sit during the August re-sit period.
Coursework will either also be deferred until August, or in some cases cancelled and the module re-weighted so that the exam is worth 100% of the module mark.
